Creating and managing a website is both fun and frustrating. As this is my first time doing this, I have had to learn things as I go along so it is so rewarding when I figure out how to make something look the way I want it to!
Today I concentrated on getting more pictures uploaded to the gallery. In my first version of the gallery which I uploaded a few days ago, I just put all of the Hawaii pictures on one page which was over 50 images. I didnt like the look of it since that page would theoretically become hundreds of thumbnail images but couldn't wrap my brain around how to create a "folder". As I was editing and uploading pictures tonight, the solution came to me and it was so simple that I couldnt believe it took me 3 days to figure it out! So now, I present to you version 2 of the photo gallery. I added my pictures of Alaska, Hong Kong and Cambodia. I will be continually adding new places I've visited and also adding to the cities/country galleries as I often go back and visit. Check back often :) - Mahalo noa lui

I have uploaded the first batch of my photos to the Photo Gallery section. Naturally, they had to be photos of Oahu, Hawaii. I have always had an affinity towards Hawai'i and last year, when I did the DNA test with Ancestry.ca, I found out that I was 12% Polynesian. That's like 1 great grand parent away! No wonder why Hawaii has always felt like home to me and a lot of the locals there mistake me for being Kama'aina. (I promise I wont get a drivers license that says "McLovin").
Oahu is one of my favourite places to travel to in the world. If you are headed there and need to talk to someone to get ideas on where to stay or eat or things to do, get in contact with me. I will be very happy to share my experiences with you. Keep an eye out on this blog also as I plan to post my experiences around the island of Oahu. -Mahalo nui loa E Komo Mai
Mahalo nui loa everyone for visiting. Come in and join me in celebrating life through travel, food, and photography. Things that you should see in this site are my reviews of things that I have experienced, recipes that I enjoy and of course my pictures. This is my first time doing something like this so please bear with me while I figure out how things work. In the meantime, you can see some of my photos via #mahalophotos (@jeffong) and Mahalo Photos via Adobe Stock. |
